Basic Info

Who are our learners?

People like you! BeADisciple is a community of people who are invested in learning and growing as disciples and leaders in their church, home, workplace, and community.

How many people are in each course?

Learners begin together, progress through materials together, and end together. Courses are conducted in small groups of about 5 – 20 with a trained facilitator or a certified instructor, so learners and instructors have an opportunity to get to know one another.

When do I need to be online for a course?

Daily participation is expected, but individual learners engage at the time that best fits their schedule – day or night.  Courses that include a required Zoom session are clearly noted in the description on our website, otherwise our courses are asynchronous and do not require a set time to be online.

What does it cost to participate?

There is no membership fee to be part of our community — simply enroll in a course that interests you! Our courses range from $80 to $165 depending on length, rigor, and programmatic requirements.  We work hard to keep costs low and content available and affordable for all.

How do I know if an online course is right for me?

Success in an online course depends on basic skills in technology and computer use.  If you use a computer in your daily life, including internet browsing, sending and receiving email, and creating and saving digital files and passwords, you will likely have no trouble navigating the technical aspects of an online course. If these types of computer tasks are challenging for you, in-person learning is likely a better option.
